Release Roles

Release Roles

To access Releases, you need to be associated with any of the release roles. Only the release requests you are associated with are displayed to you. The following are some of the release roles:
  1. Release Requester - Initiates the release request.
  2. Development Head - Manages the team that builds and documents the release.
  3. QA Manager - Leads the team and evaluates the functionality of the service being released.
  4. Release Engineer - Plans the release process, deploys the service, and trains stakeholders to use the service.
  5. Release Manager - Oversees the release process and ensures that the service meets objectives and quality standards.
  6. Release Reviewer - Reviews the entire release process to make sure that standardized procedures have been followed and evaluates possible outcomes.
  7. UAT Owner - Organizes and manages the testing of the service by stakeholders and select clients.
Besides the above roles, admins can create any custom release roles and assign them to users.
