Update Requests as an Editor
Editors can review or update a service request raised by someone else once before it resumes its workflow. If you were marked as an editor for a service request, you can update it as follows:
Go to the request view page and select Awaiting My Update from custom views.
The list of requests pending update from you will be displayed withbeside the status. Click the subject of a reques you wish to update.
On its details page, click Edit and make the necessary changes to the request.
Click Update Request.
If the request needs no update but only a review, you can view the details and click Mark Edited directly on the toolbar.
You can also access requests pending your update by clicking Awaiting Update link on My Summary widget from the Home tab.
After you update the request, it will move to another state. You can track the request from the Updated By Me filter.
If your administrator has enabled notifications for editors, you will be notified when you are marked as an editor for a request.
