Custom Widgets

Custom Widgets

ServiceDesk Plus allows you to connect with third-party applications and perform actions in the external application through custom widgets. Custom widgets are UI elements embedded into the application that allow users to access third-party applications and webpages.

You can access custom widgets from any of the following locations, depending on where your administrator has configured them:

  • Web tab

  • Home page widget

  • Request custom menu, request details page - right panel, or sub-tab

  • Change custom menu, change details page - right panel, or sub-tab

  • Release custom menu, release details page - right panel, left pane tab, or stage subtab

Custom widgets will be available to you only if your administrator has configured and enabled them for requesters.
